Carlyle acquires majority stake in School for CEOs
Uniting expertise to drive future leadership success
The team at Carlyle are excited to announce that after many months of careful planning, we have concluded a majority acquisition in The School for CEOs, the leadership development specialist, founded by David Sole OBE and Patrick Macdonald.
For over 20 years, Carlyle has been providing Board-level and Leadership Executive Search across a variety of disciplines and industries, as well as key strategic hiring for NXDs and Chairs. Our senior impact interim offering was introduced in response to client demand, and shortly afterwards we added our Board Effectiveness Review product.
We see this partnership with The School for CEOs as a natural progression of our work with senior leaders and Boards. The collaboration deepens our Board and executive offering, strengthening how we provide leadership assessment, development, onboarding, and advisory needs, combining proven frameworks with bespoke consultancy to help build inclusive leadership capability. We will also be growing the residential course schedule, for leaders and aspiring leaders, with more information to come.
Carlyle will continue to offer and conduct the services we have delivered to the same high level with passion and integrity: Chair, NXD, C-suite appointments, as well as other strategic hires in finance, transformation, technology, operations, and people and culture. We will continue to support a large portfolio of industries, across Financial Services, PE/VC, Family Business, Commercial and Consumer Goods.
This partnership will ensure Carlyle are better positioned to work with Boards, leadership teams and investors on their longer term people strategy, not only planning for succession and people development, but also upskilling and improving the current leadership.
We are also passionate about our continued evolution, which places a strong emphasis on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, particularly around how organisations can drive a culture of inclusion through leadership behaviours. Often resulting in higher productivity, belonging, happiness, and growth.
Please feel free to reach out to any of your key contacts at Carlyle for further information, and we'll be in touch shortly.
